Really, Brett Basanez? Really? Did that just happen.

Nick Hill is probably sitting in DuQuoin, Ill., chilling, working out, keeping a close eye on Saluki athletics and keeping the ringer on his phone really, really loud awaiting a phone call from an NFL team.

Meanwhile, all Brett Basanez has to do is beat a drunk and a mentally-challenged quarterback to be an NFL starter.

The only thing BB has that Hill doesn't is a degree from frickin' Northwestern.

I guess journalism jobs aren't the only thing Evanston grads take from us Salukis.
