Freshman forward Anthony Booker participated in all practice drills Tuesday and said he is ready to play in Wednesday night's game in Terre Haute, Ind., against Indiana State.
Booker suffered a bruised right knee in Sunday's 68-62 win against Bradley. The reserve forward returned to the game after the injury, but re-aggravated it after a defensive rebound.
When I approached SIU head coach Chris Lowery after practice, he responded with a quick "He practiced. He's gonna go."
Keeping the 6-foot-8-inch forward could be important to a team that already has a shortened bench.
